Gesture
It's been a while since I did figure drawing and it shows... My plan is to go back to basics again, starting with gesture and eventually moving onto form and anatomy.

These are so alive! It's like looking at a flame. I really need to get my butt to life drawing and practice!
I'd recommend checking out some life drawing for animation. They tend to exaggerate the poses which creates a wonderful sense of movement. :)
I need more practice too! I've been neglecting my figure drawing!

I have a vague memory of getting into an argument on the SD forums about this...what did you call it? "gesture?" mmmm, no I must be thinking of something else. :p

@John: Not sure if you'd call this gesture since I know you do it differently. The point is to feel the movement though, and in that respect I think this way of doing it serves the same purpose.
Yeah, I'm quite inspired by Francis Vallejo's drawings! One step at a time though... I need to pick up the pieces that were lost somewhere along the way from not keeping up my figure drawing. XD
Not much to say other than lovely! They're reaaly characterful pose sketches. :)
